Lenkie has partnered with the University of Cambridge’s, Hackbridge.io, to publish a research paper that demonstrates an innovative approach to credit underwriting. The findings of this paper can be utilised to lend to SMEs operating through digital platforms. The credit models built use platform revenue data to assign individual credit scores for each SME, thereby creating financial inclusion for thousands of UK businesses that are currently overlooked based on traditional underwriting metrics.
