About the job

We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to manage and grow our broker-led sales channel. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys relationship-building, and has strong commercial instincts. You will be responsible for progressing deals introduced by our broker network through the sales funnel - from initial lead qualification through to funding. You’ll be a critical part of our growth story, acting as a trusted point of contact for brokers and building high-quality relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Qualify and progress leads from brokers, ensuring alignment with Lenkie’s lending criteria.

• Build and maintain deep and trusted relationships with brokers to become their go-to partner for funding.

• Collaborate closely with credit, underwriting, and account management teams to move deals efficiently through the funnel.

• Own and improve the broker sales funnel: identify bottlenecks, propose improvements, and implement better processes.

• Track and report on key sales metrics, broker performance, and deal pipeline status.

• Deliver an excellent customer experience to brokers and their clients.

• Support strategic sales initiatives and special projects as needed.

Qualifications/Required Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development or partnerships is required, ideally in financial services, fintech, or B2B SaaS.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills - you can build trust and influence stakeholders.

• Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

• Commercially minded with a focus on driving results.

• Comfortable with data and using CRM tools to manage a sales pipeline.

• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving environment.
